Write Stuff Writing Photo Contest - March 1, 2008
The Write Stuff writing photo contest is meant to help you look for stories in a visual medium. There are stories everywhere - you just have to train yourself to look for them.
Here’s how the contest works:
1. Take a photo of something (a person, an event, an object, etc). It can be funny or serious - it’s totally up to you. (It needs to be a picture that you, or someone close to you, took. No stock pictures, or anything else found from the Internet, please).
2. Write a story to go with the photo. You could have a story in mind before you take the picture, or take a picture and write a story inspired from the photo.
3. Post both the picture and your story to your blog.
4. Leave the direct link to your entry in the Mr. Linky box.
5. Ask visitors to vote for your entry.
6. Stories must be at least 500 words.
7. Please keep the pictures PG-rated. (Entries with risque or offensive photos, AND/OR stories, will be disqualified).
8. Winner will receive a $15.00 gift certificate to Amazon.com.
